Lauzonite, a high-performance surface, is made of a steel sheet coated with 4 layers of resin a carborandum baked on at a high temperature. The result is a smooth, easy-to-clean, flat-toned durable surface that ensures full, well-defined chalk lines visible from a distance. Its surface flatness is achieved by mounting the steel on a supporting frame under 350 pounds pressure per square inch. Fiive-year warranty  on chalkboard  and five –year warranty on Blackboard, under normal usage.
