The Hape Coral Reef Activity Center has lots of levers, dials, cranks and maze activities to create an exciting hands-on ocean theme environment for public play spaces. Each of the 6 sides has opportunity for play: The turtle maze challenges children to use both hands or race with someone else and see who can move the little turtle to the top of the big turtle's shell first. The wheel panel allows you to turn the knob on the big yellow disc and discover how some dials move faster than others. Pull the boat across the water and watch it speed by. Push the fish dial down and see what ocean critter is hiding on the other side. Match the whimsical marine animals with their families. Children turn the green knob on the fish's face and make the eyes twirl. Children can get a close-up view of themselves in the mirrored diving helmet. The Coral Reef Activity Center ships with the bead and wire maze inverted into the base. Simply install the maze on the base by tightening the screws.
