Grasshopper Model Activity Set The Grasshopper Model is one of a series of models that make up a coordinated program in Biology/Life Science. The model demonstrates a generalized, short-horned grasshopper where part of the exoskeleton on one side of the animal has been cut away to disclose the internal organs. The wings are positioned so that both may be seen. A supplementary diagram shows the mouth parts as they are seen in normal position, and then displayed in an "exploded" view.
