Healthy Choices: Diet, Exercise and Self-Management provides the tools to directly confront a growing health crisis with our children. Not only do inactivity and obesity come with immediate health risks including a dramatic increase in cardiovascular disease and diabetes in children but they also present extraordinary long-term public health risks. These risks include early death, obesity, diabetes, heart disease and various cancers.



Healthy Choices provides a multi-year approach to educating children and supporting a behaviour change toward healthier living. The focus of the activities is on instilling positive decision making and empowerment. Gr. 6 to 9.
